The photos have a documentary feel and we attempt to avoid overly finished results. Artists and their passion for art are at the heart of the photos. Uniarts Helsinki’s high-quality and attractive facilities are displayed.

Photography at Uniarts Helsinki facilities and events

Uniarts Helsinki organises several public events every year where photographs may be taken for various marketing purposes. Written permission to photograph must always be requested from the subjects if the photographs are to be used in marketing. Minors must be taken into account when filming events – their consent from a guardian is always required. It is also a good idea to ask for consent from children aged 12 or over.

Photography in teaching situations

When shooting in teaching situations, for example, it is a good idea to ask for verbal permission before starting, so that the photographer can immediately avoid those people who do not want to be photographed. However, written permission must still be obtained from those who appear in the pictures. Do not photograph or post images where someone is in an offensive situation or does not want to be photographed.

The consent form to photograph can be tailored appropriately to cover consent to photography and publishing photos on different channels. The photo consent form is available in Finnish and English from Uniarts Helsinki’s Communications team viestinta@uniarts.fi.
